Favorite Recipe: Crabmeat Salad on French Bread Croutons from Mr. B’s

Ingredients:
1 pound jumbo lump crab meat
¼ cup shallots, minced
2 tablespoons celery, minced
2 tablespoons red bell pepper, minced
¾ cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Crystal hot sauce
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon Creole mustard

Preparation:
Mix all the ingredients together. Serve atop sliced French bread croutons.

Ingredients:
1 loaf French bread

Preparation:
Cut bread into ½” rounds. Lightly toast rounds (butter optional). Let cool and spoon salad on top to serve.

– Find a big leafy cabbage, slice off the bottom.
– Insert small plastic water vials of roses and delphinium between the leaves.
– Place in terra cotta saucers with seed packets.
